Clay modeling remains an industry standard for three-dimensional design. The material is perfectly complemented by computer-aided modeling processes.
All formulas can be used in milling, scanning, carving, extruding and combing with an extremely fine, precise finish. Professional Plasticine Chavant bonds easily, without showing seams, maintains fine detail and will not crack under normal circumstances. Professional Plasticine Chavant can be reused, simply heat them to make them semi-liquid. They are non-toxic and do not create any dust.
Each type of professional plasticine Chavant, is suitable for all educational levels, professional sculptors in Fine Arts, FX (Special Effects) and prototyping. The blocks are individually wrapped.
It can be melted and poured at approximately 85 ºC.
The Professional Plasticine Chavant is free of sulfur compounds (sulfur) so it is ideal for use with silicone molds, there will be no problem of inhibition, a problem that can occur with other plasticines on the market that contain sulfur, spoiling the silicone molds.
It can be used as original modeling material, creating a piece to be copied with a silicone mold, or it can be used as plasticine for the bedding of double-sided molds, as explained in our tutorial #3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMCnZ-08Wm8
Handling Tips: NSP can be heated to soften it but as it softens it also becomes sticky. Using small amounts of water, citrus-based solvents, lighter fluid, latex paint removers, turpentine or turpentine as a lubricant on the surface of the clay will help you achieve a smooth surface.
NSP can actually be melted and poured as a melt, brushed or sprayed. Melting point is approximately 80 ºC
Softening point: NSP - Soft is generally used at room temperature. NSP - Medium and Hard is most often heated to a temperature of 43°C-48°C until softened. When returned to room temperature it returns to initial firmness.
Working temperature: From room temperature up to 40ºC
