How to use it
- Make sure the actor's hair is clean, dry and free of oils or residual conditioners to maximise the gel's hold.

- Comb and flatten the hair in the desired direction, following the shape of the skull to achieve the flattest possible profile.
- If necessary, section the hair in layers and apply the gel layer by layer, pressing each section flat before moving on to the next.
- Allow a few minutes for the gel to set and gain consistency before placing the bald cap or wig.
- Place the wig or bald cap over the secured hair. Adjust and adhere the edges with the appropriate adhesive for the type of prosthetic.
- For removal, apply plenty of water and mild soap, massaging gently until the gel is completely dissolved. Avoid pulling sharply.
Usage tips
Thin layers for greater control
For very thick or abundant hair, it is preferable to work in two or three thin layers rather than a single thick one. Each layer helps to progressively compress the volume, and the final result is flatter and longer-lasting than applying all the gel at once.
Combine with a net or bandage
For long or especially voluminous hair, apply GF-QAT 30 Strong, gather the hair into braids pinned flat against the skull and temporarily cover it with a net or elastic bandage while the gel sets. Remove the net just before placing the bald cap. This method is particularly useful when preparation time is tight.
Removal without damaging the hair
As it is a non-drying gel, GF-QAT 30 Strong is removed much more easily than products that form a rigid film. Use warm water and mild soap, always working from the tips towards the roots to avoid tangles. If the actor has a sensitive scalp, a leave-in conditioner applied before the final wash makes cleaning even easier.
