Wood Putty is a very light epoxy putty suitable for a wide range of works, both artistic and industrial.

Due to temperatures below 20º its natural state is hardened, but once we temper the container in a bain-marie or near a heat source we will see how easy it is to use to mix it and perform the desired work.

This putty, once hardened, has a tone and consistency similar to wood. Itis easily mixed by hand in equal parts by volume.
It has a long working time and cures in 7 hours at room temperature to a rigid, tough epoxy with board-like properties.

Once cured, Wood Putty is so light that it even floats on water. It can be sanded, machined, drilled and even CNC milled

It readily accepts any type of paint and can also be mass pigmented with suitable pigments.

Once mixed, Wood Putty can be pressed into an open mold to create detailed and very light parts. It holds perfectly on vertical surfaces and can be applied on polystyrene for large sculptures.

Wood Putty is also perfect for making very light and resistant counter molds or shells.

EPOXY LAMINATE: Applying Wood Putty sheets between layers of an epoxy laminate with glass or carbon fiber or fabric is a good way to lighten composite parts and save time and labor.

WORK TIME: 40-50 minutes.

CURE TIME: 7 hours.
