1. Make sure your work surface is level and completely clean.

7. (Optional) Add colour to the resin. Once everything is mixed together, it will have no colour, as it is a completely transparent resin, unless you have mixed it with a natural filler. So to achieve a colour similar to your furniture, you can use pigments.
This step is optional, depending on whether the part of the furniture you are going to repair is visible or not. Since it is a liquid and transparent product, you can colour it without any problem.

8. Secure the area. To prevent our mixture from spilling out and to ensure it is properly sealed to the part we want to restore, it is necessary to apply adhesive tape around it, placing several layers. You can also place a piece of cardboard in the area to act as a stop and prevent spillage, then cover it with duct tape.
9. Apply the mixture. With the sealing ready and using a spatula, gradually pour the liquid, allowing it to penetrate the cracks properly and avoiding air bubbles. To achieve a reinforced concrete-like result, you can place screws along the mixture to make it more solid. Although this step is not necessary, as the resin's sealing effect is sufficient.
Drying time and clean-up
10. Leave to dry. After pouring all the mixture and checking that it is completely thick enough to do its job properly, leave it to dry for the time indicated on the packaging, though depending on the size and the temperature at which you are working it may need more drying time.
Resin is a material that is very easy to work with before it starts to dry, but once dry, it can damage your work area and even the furniture you want to repair. For this reason, it is necessary to clean any excess resin you don't need with a cloth and acetone.

11. After waiting the indicated time and checking that the resin is fully cured, proceed to remove it from the formwork.
12. To achieve a professional result, use a sander to remove all remaining resin and gradually sand it down, eliminating the dust residue that builds up as you go, so you can see how it's looking. Once sanded, it will have an appearance similar to wood and the repair will not be noticeable.
