The Titanic Pro-FX Brush 306 is a flat double fiber stipple brush. The flat shape of the tip — unlike the rounded tip of other stipple models — allows texture to be applied in a more rectangular and controlled pattern, making it easier to work in areas with straight edges, horizontal prosthesis lines or skin effects on flat surfaces such as foreheads and wide cheeks.

What it is used for
The flat tip of the 306 makes it different from the round stipple: the dot pattern has a more defined edge on the sides, which is useful when you need to apply texture to a straight line or treat a rectangular area.
Skin texture in flat areas such as foreheads and cheeks
Controlled stipple along straight prosthesis edges or facial lines
Aged skin effects with uniform pattern on large surfaces
Application of latex base with a dot pattern on large areas of the body
Texture transitions in body painting on flat areas
How to use it
Load the brush with the product and remove the excess on the palette.
Apply perpendicular to the surface with firm and uniform pressure.
For straight edges, use the flat side of the tip aligned with the reference line.
Superimpose layers by varying the orientation of the brush for a more organic pattern.
Clean with appropriate solvent at the end of the session.
Use Tips
More organic pattern by rotating the brush
The flat stipple tends to leave a more regular pattern than the rounded one. To avoid the effect looking artificial, rotate the brush between applications, changing the angle about 15-30 degrees each time.
Using the profile for texture lines
The side profile of the 306 allows texture to be applied in a narrow strip without the bristles going over the edges. It is useful for treating fine lines of prosthetics or skin effects that must follow a directional pattern.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the flat 306 and the round stipples in the range?
The flat shape generates a rectangular rather than circular dot pattern. This allows you to work with more precision along straight edges and in flat areas. The round stipple are more versatile in curves and areas with irregular topography; 306 specializes in flat surfaces and defined edges.
Is it compatible with alcohol-based paints?
Yes. The 306 synthetic bristles are compatible with alcohol-based paints. Clean with 99% isopropyl alcohol after use to remove paint residue and keep the bristles in optimal condition.
Can I use 306 to apply adhesives in addition to textures?
It is not its main use. For adhesives, countersunk brushes (103, 104, 105) are more suitable. 306 is designed for texture and stipple techniques, although its flat shape allows thin sealants to be distributed in stripes.
