It is held between the fingers like a stamp or tampon and allows products to be applied with the pressure and natural control of touch, preserving the dexterity of working with the fingertip but with the hygienic and technical advantages of a professional brush. Technical specifications Model Pro-FX Brush 117 Type Finger brush — precision Type of bristles Vegan synthetics Solvent resistance Yes Handle Sustainable bamboo, compact format Ferrule Aluminum Holding mode Between index and middle fingers Range Titanic FX Pro-FX Brush What it is used for There are areas of the face where the handle of a conventional brush makes vision difficult or interferes with the natural movement of the hand. The 117 solves this problem by eliminating the long handle and letting the artist work with more intuitive and direct pressure control. Application of adhesives in difficult access areas without a long handle Sealing prosthesis edges in areas very close to the eyes Distribution of paint in areas of the face where perspective is lost with a long brush Quick touch-ups on the actor during filming Fine work on small format prostheses on curved surfaces How to use it Hold the brush between your index and middle fingers with the bristle head facing outward. Load the bristles with the product using a paddle or container. Apply with the natural pressure of the finger, using the pad as a control reference. For very small areas, tilt slightly to work only with the tip of the bristles. Clean the bristles with appropriate solvent when finished. Use Tips Greater control in periorbicular areas To work around the eyes, the 117 allows the hand to be positioned naturally without the handle blocking the artist's vision or the actor's work area. This reduces application time and improves precision. Combination with long-handled brushes The 117 does not replace long-handled brushes, it complements them. Use the long-handled ones for most work and the 117 for touch-ups and finishing in areas with limited access. Frequently asked questions Is the finger brush hygienic to work on the actor? Yes. When using the finger brush, the product remains on the bristles and not on your skin directly. You can use latex or nitrile gloves under the brush for greater hygiene if you work in environments where this is required (TV, cinema, healthcare). What size area does 117 cover? It is designed for detailed areas, not for general coverage. The application area per stroke is comparable to the tip of a finger, making it ideal for touch-ups, edge sealing and fine work. Is there an even smaller model for tiny details? For extremely fine details, the Brush 101 (extra fine liner) with long handle is the usual alternative. The 117 is designed for precision in hard-to-reach areas, not necessarily for the finest level of detail.
