What is the difference between 114 and 109 (stipple half rounded)?
The 109 is a medium-sized model with standard length hair, while the 114 is large and has short hair. The practical difference is in the rigidity of the pattern: the 114 with short pile generates a more compact and defined texture; 109 with long hair has a more diffuse and organic pattern. Each one is used according to the type of texture you want to achieve.
Is it possible to use it to apply conventional makeup base in addition to FX products?
Yes. The shape and size of the 114 make it suitable for applying liquid foundations and creams on large surfaces with a natural skin effect. The synthetic bristles do not absorb product, which reduces consumption and makes cleaning easier.
How do you clean it correctly after using it with latex?
Remove fresh latex with warm water and neutral soap immediately after use, before it dries. If the latex has already partially dried, use isopropyl alcohol to soften it and loosen it from the bristles. A final rinse with water removes any solvent residue.
