Professional Titanic FX brush set for special effects make-up. Solvent-resistant vegan synthetic bristles, sustainable bamboo handles. Designed for applying, painting and removing prosthetics.

The Titanic FX Brush Kit Stick With Me is a set of small brushes for applying prosthetic adhesives in detail areas and profiles. When work is concentrated on the edge of a prosthesis, around the nose or around the eyes, small brushes allow the adhesive to be distributed precisely without dirtying adjacent areas.

Kit contents

Groups the smaller countersunk brushes from the Titanic FX range, ideal for detail work with adhesives:

  • Pro-FX Brush 104 — short countersink for small areas

What is it used for

The finish of a prosthesis depends on both the general application and the work on its edges. A small brush loaded with just the right amount of adhesive allows you to seal 1-2 mm thick profiles without overflows that would later have to be removed with solvent.

  • Sealing thin edges in silicone and latex prostheses
  • Application of adhesive around eyes, nose and lips
  • Replacement of prostheses that have partially come loose
  • Gluing of small hair pieces such as scars, warts and detail pieces
  • Retouch work in hard-to-reach areas

How to use it

  1. Clean and degrease the work area before applying the adhesive.
  2. Load the brush with a minimal amount of adhesive; In detail areas, less is more.
  3. Apply following the edge of the prosthesis with short, precise strokes.
  4. Allow to dry according to the instructions on the adhesive before pressing the prosthesis.
  5. Clean the brush immediately with the corresponding solvent.

Use Tips

Adhesive control on thin edges

To seal edges less than 2 mm, apply the adhesive almost dry: load the brush and first pass it over the back of your hand to remove excess before applying to the prosthesis.

Complementary to the large kit

This kit and the Stick it to the Max work in tandem: the large one for general coatings, the small one for details and final edge sealing. Having both in the work kit speeds up the process considerably.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use these brushes to apply potting sealants in addition to adhesives?

Yes. Silicone or latex encapsulating sealants are applied in the same way as adhesives, and small brushes are perfect for working the fine edges of the denture where the sealant needs to integrate with the skin.

What adhesives are compatible with?

They are compatible with most professional adhesives used in special effects: rubber spirit, medical grade acrylic adhesives, silicone adhesives and latex glues. The bristles and ferrule attachment adhesive resist the solvents used to clean these products.

How do I keep the adhesive from drying on the bristles between uses during break-in?

Keep a small container with the appropriate solvent and dip the bristles lightly between applications to prevent the adhesive from drying. At the end of the day, clean thoroughly and let it dry horizontally.
