What it is used for

How to use it
- Piece preparation: clean the surface of dust, grease and mould release residue with water and neutral soap or isopropyl alcohol. Allow to dry completely.
- Shake well: shake the bottle vigorously for at least one minute to homogenise the pigment and binders in the formula.
- Thinning for airbrush: you can apply it directly or thin it slightly with distilled water or acrylic retarder if you need greater fluidity. Recommended pressure: 15–20 psi with a 0.3–0.4 mm needle.
- Brush application: apply thin, even coats taking advantage of the self-levelling property. Avoid overloading the brush to prevent obscuring detail.
- Drying: the coat becomes touch-dry within a few minutes. Wait at least 24 hours before sanding or moving on to colour coats.
- Cleaning: clean the airbrush or brush with water and soap as soon as you finish. Do not let the primer dry inside the equipment.

Thin coats to preserve detail
Always apply in light, crossing passes. A single thick coat can fill engravings and panel lines on fine-detail miniatures or scale models. With the airbrush, keep a distance of about 10–15 cm and move your hand steadily. If you need greater coverage, it is better to apply two thin coats than one dense one.
Ideal base for light colours and lighting techniques
