Since Monster Clay changes hardness with heat, alternate the rake — most effective on cool, firm clay — with the silicone shapers, which work best when the surface is slightly warmed and soft.

Clay residue left on the texture stamps blurs the detail of the next imprint. Wipe the stamp with a cloth before repeating the texture on another area of the piece.
