What it's used for

ADD-A-LASH is formulated specifically to bond strip or individual false lashes to the eyelid, both in artistic makeup and special effects contexts as well as everyday use. Its latex-free formula makes it the ideal alternative when there are restrictions due to allergy or skin sensitivity.

  • Bonding strip false lashes to the eyelid
  • Fixing individual or cluster lashes
  • Special effects (FX) makeup around the eye area
  • Professional use on film sets, theatre and photography
  • Application on skin with latex allergy or sensitivity
  • Long-duration work requiring water and sweat resistance

How to use it

  1. Make sure the eyelid is clean, dry and free of oils or traces of previous makeup.
  2. Shake the container gently before use.
  3. Apply a thin, even line of ADD-A-LASH along the base of the false lash strip using the contoured applicator tip.
  4. Wait 20 to 30 seconds for the adhesive to become slightly tacky (semi-dry) before placing the lash.
  5. Place the lash strip from the centre of the eyelid towards the corners, adjusting with precision.
  6. Press gently along the lash line and hold for a few seconds until the adhesive grips.
  7. To remove, carefully peel the strip from the outer corner towards the inner corner of the eyelid.
  8. Remove any adhesive residue from the eyelid with Telesis 8 Thinner or a suitable makeup remover.

Application tips

Waiting time before placing the lash

The most common mistake is placing the lash with the adhesive freshly applied. Always wait until the adhesive is in the tacky phase (slightly sticky to the touch but without transferring material). This step is key for a clean, long-lasting bond. In highly humid environments it may require a little more time.

Application on sensitive skin

Being a latex-free adhesive, ADD-A-LASH is suitable for skin with allergy or intolerance to conventional lash adhesives. If it is the first time you are using it on a client, always perform a patch test on a small area at least 24 hours before the job, as good professional practice.

Storage and shelf life

Store the container closed, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture. An aged adhesive may lose holding strength or change consistency, which directly affects the result. Always check the date before using it on an important job.

Frequently asked questions

Can this adhesive be used on skin with latex allergy?

Yes. ADD-A-LASH is formulated specifically without latex, making it the recommended option for people with allergy or sensitivity to conventional lash adhesives that contain latex in their composition.

How is the adhesive removed from the eyelid?

Peel the lash strip from the outer corner towards the inner corner of the eyelid with a gentle movement. To remove adhesive residue from the skin, use Telesis 8 Thinner or a makeup remover specifically designed for the eye area.

How long does it take to dry?

The adhesive should be left to sit for 20 to 30 seconds after application before placing the lash. The full dry is clear, so it leaves no visible residue on the lash line.

Is it water and sweat resistant?

Yes. ADD-A-LASH is water resistant, making it suitable for long-duration work, film shoots, stage performances or situations where the client may sweat or be exposed to humidity.

Can it be used to fix FX prosthetics around the eye area?

ADD-A-LASH is designed for false lashes in contact with the eyelid. For bonding FX prosthetics in periorbital areas, refer to stronger-hold adhesives such as PROTAC or Telesis 8, depending on the type of prosthetic and material.

How long does the product last once opened?

The shelf life of ADD-A-LASH is 24 months from the manufacturing date. Once opened, keep it tightly closed, in a cool place away from direct sunlight to maintain its bonding properties.

What is the difference between this adhesive and latex-based ones?

Latex-based adhesives can cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin, redness or irritation. ADD-A-LASH eliminates that risk by being formulated completely without latex, without sacrificing hold or water resistance. It is the professional option when working with clients whose allergy history is unknown or where declared sensitivity exists.
