Epocoat GREY is a thixotropic epoxy resin, which makes it a gel coat. It is hard, tough, dimensionally stable and offers exceptional abrasion resistance.

Epocoat GREY is very easy to use and dries very well on a wide variety of surfaces without crumbling. Once the epoxy has become tacky, fiberglass can be laminated to it and then epoxy putty can be added for a lightweight, extremely high strength and finish part.
Epocoat GREY can be used in a multitude of applications, including the manufacture of precision tooling, vacuform molds, injection molds, casting patterns and molds from FX for casting silicone.
The mix ratio is 100A:15B by weight or 5A:1B by volume and has a working time of 40 minutes and a cure time of 16 hours.
Epocoat GREY accepts all types of dry fillers, but it must be added to Part A first, mixed thoroughly, and then Part B must be added.
